PW Spotlight: Jeff McCormick
Personal Information
Born and raised in Livingston,
Tennessee, McCormick graduated from
Tennessee Tech University with a degree
in math and science. He also graduated
from the Economic Development
Institute at the University of Oklahoma
and is a Certified Public Manager
through the University of Tennessee.
He has been the Public Services
Director for the City of Goodlettsville for
six years, with a staff of 25 encompassing
street, traffic, sanitation, stormwater,
sewer, garage and maintenance. Prior to
that, McCormick was in the economic
development field for more than two
decades for the counties of Lincoln,
Overton, and Warren.
He has been married 32 years to
his wife Teresa, a special education
teacher at Station Camp High School.
McCormick has a son and daughter both
in college: Eli is at Nashville State in the
Engineering Tech and Construction
Management program, and Clara
