TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS
Upper East Branch Meets at TopGolf By Klair Kimmey

TopGolf in Farragut was the location
for the Upper East Branch meeting held
on March 29. Around 45 Public Works
professionals attended the LDA-sponsored
event featuring an educational component
and the Golf!
The program began with an introduction
of APWA President Keith Pugh by Shane
Snoderly, Upper East Branch Director.
Pugh gave an update on national events
and initiatives for 2023. And hinted at
some big news for the Tennessee Chapter
which we should hear about soon.
Following Pugh’s remarks, LDA
Engineering discussed “What We Do.”
They introduced to the attendees their
division called LDA Services. This
division offers such things as
geomatics, asset management,
landfill management, project
management, economic and
land development, stormwater,
and more.
After the program, door
prizes were awarded. Prizes were
provided by LDA, Stringfellow,
and Mattern & Craig. Thanks so
much for your generosity.
Following the door prizes,
attendees were released for lunch
and golf. LDA provided a buffet
and five bays for playing golf.
