Road Supervisor Todd Brown

The Chester County Highway Department is responsible for the
maintenance and construction of over 500 miles of roads and 76 Permit No. 592 Pontiac, IL PAID US Postage PRSRT STD
bridges in Chester County. Road Supervisor Todd Brown, along
with the rest of the highway department’s twenty-person team,
understands that both good products and good support are crucial to having a productive work
atmosphere. That’s why he has worked with his local Cat Dealer for the past thirty-two years.

In the Department’s fleet they currently have three Cat Wheel Loaders, a Cat D6 Dozer, and a new
Cat 420 Backhoe Loader. Brown tells us that many of their machines are used every day, and when
asked what they have been able to achieve using Cat products his answer is simple. “Getting the job
done with the equipment we’ve got. It’s working well.”
There is one main reason that Brown recommends his local dealer to others: Product Support.
According to him, service sells equipment, and the service he has experienced has been high
quality. Not only does his local dealership often have the parts that he needs, but the people there
are always willing to lend a helping hand. Brown points out that he has been able to form good
relationships with everyone he has worked with. Brown says that, “It’s a good business, a good
bunch of guys to work with, and their products are good.”
