In the town of Kingston Springs, the Public Works Division has 10 miles of road they strive to keep
safe for the community. Their projects include salting the roads for winter weather, tree cleanups Permit No. 592 Pontiac, IL PAID US Postage
after bad storms, and cleaning out storm drains. Roger Parker, Director of Public Works, and his team PRSRT STD
of three employees utilize the Cat 903D Compact Wheel Loader as well as several attachments from
their local Cat Dealer to help get the job done.
Parker has been using Caterpillar machines since he started with the department back in 2018.
Three years ago, the department was looking to buy a Compact Wheel Loader for roadway cleaning.
