• February takes me to Kansas City for a board Bo Mills, APWA President; and Gary Lee Moore, City of Los Angeles City Engineer/Public
Works Director. The picture is taken in the Los Angeles City Hall. The group met to see how
meeting and Technical Committee/Council of APWA can help large cities such as LA serve their employees better.
Chapters meeting, and to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
• March takes me to Washington, D.C., the Arizona
Chapter, and to Monterey, Calif.
• In April, I’m off to Louisville, Ky., for the Roger
Clark Region III & IV Leadership Conference, then
to the New York Metro Chapter, and the Florida
Chapter Annual Conference.
• In May, I travel to the Mid-Atlantic Annual
Conference, to the Snow Conference in
Indianapolis, and to Washington, D.C., for National
Public Works Week festivities on the Hill.
• In June, I’ll be traveling to present Top Ten Awards
all over the country. I also have my home Board
meeting where the Tennessee Chapter is hosting
a dinner for me, then to the North Carolina
Chapter, then off to Rotorua, New Zealand, for
the International Public Works and Engineering
Association Conference with a stop off in Hawaii
for a Chapter visit on the way back.
• There are other trips planned for the summer
months including the South Carolina Chapter
and the Alaska Chapter with my tenure ending in
Kansas City at PWX.
