Ken Donaldson Retires
Ken Donaldson, Public Works Director for the City of
Columbia, celebrated his retirement with a large number of well
wishers (and cake) on February 28.
Jeff DeWire, the current Public Works Director, shared the
following about Ken. “During his 17 years with Columbia
Public Works, Ken Donaldson has improved every aspect of
our department including the automation of garbage collection,
advancement of traffic control systems, and updating of fleet
equipment. His leadership, knowledge, and sense of humor will
be missed.”
Donaldson has been a member of APWA for over 30 years
starting with the Kansas City Chapter. He has served the
Tennessee Chapter since moving to Columbia and after serving
on the Board of Directors, was Chapter Chairman in 2015.
Congratulations Ken! Don't be a stranger.
