Prevention Act. In 2021,
Tennessee 811 processed more
than 1 million locate requests in
a year for the first time.
Despite the growth of our
organization and the increase
in excavation work across the
state, we’re still a nonprofit
organization, based in Nashville,
with a single office on Elm Hill
Pike. A chunk of our staff works
remotely, but the majority of
them are Tennessee residents
who depend on the very service
they provide.
We work hard to make
the 811 process efficient and
effective, and we’re always open
to feedback from the excavators
who use our service or the
facility owners who depend on
