TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS
Lower East Tennessee Branch Meeting By Kristin Franklin
The Lower East Branch of TCAPWA met earlier
this year, on March 12, where sixteen attendees
enjoyed a lunch generously sponsored by Graco.
Kristin Franklin, TCAPWA’s Lower East Director,
kicked off the meeting with member introductions,
then spotlighted future events locally centered around
Public Works Week. Several upcoming important
dates also were announced, including the TCAPWA
State Conference and TPWI classes.
Representing Graco, Rich Stankiewicz gave a
presentation with slides highlighting their technology
that can eliminate trip hazards (as well as remove
paint stripes.) After lunch, attendees went outside for
an onsite technology demo of this machine.
Many thanks to all who attended on the beautiful
spring day!
