TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS
         Lower East Tennessee Branch Meeting                                                        By Kristin Franklin



           The Lower East Branch of TCAPWA met earlier
         this year, on March 12, where sixteen attendees
         enjoyed a lunch generously sponsored by Graco.
           Kristin Franklin, TCAPWA’s Lower East Director,
         kicked off the meeting with member introductions,
         then spotlighted future events locally centered around
         Public Works Week. Several upcoming important
         dates also were announced, including the TCAPWA
         State Conference and TPWI classes.
           Representing Graco, Rich Stankiewicz gave a
         presentation with slides highlighting their technology
         that can eliminate trip hazards (as well as remove
         paint stripes.) After lunch, attendees went outside for
         an onsite technology demo of this machine.
           Many thanks to all who attended on the beautiful
         spring day!
