The Town of Collierville’s Public Service Department
held its annual Public Works Week celebration Thursday,
May 23. Included among the attendees of this year’s
celebration were the Department’s employees, Town
Administration, Planning & Engineering Department,
Finance Department, members of the Board of Alderman,
and the Mayor.
Employees from the Public Service Department and
guests enjoyed a wide variety of activities including an
Equipment Rodeo, giving employees and guests the
opportunity to compete in the operation of several pieces
of equipment and in a Horseshoes Tournament – a
favorite of the Department’s employees.
Employees and guests also enjoyed a luncheon
provided by the Public Service Department and served
by the Public Service Department Administrative staff.
Attendees had a fun-filled day celebrating the men and
women who work throughout the year to make our
community a great place in which to live.
