The day began with a fun icebreaker
to kick things off, followed by a behind-

capital improvements such as Riverdale
Park and the City’s water tower, the student
was able to see firsthand how public
infrastructure comes together.
Lunch at the department’s favorite local
spot offered a chance to talk shop, share
stories, and connect on a more personal
level. Along the way, there were plenty of

education, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of
