PW Spotlight: Megan Brooks
First, tell us about yourself.
I have worked in the engineering field for
many years. I feel as though I have come
full circle. When I was in graduate school,
I worked at Knox County Engineering
and Public Works and now having been at
the City of Alcoa in the same line of work
as Development Services Director. My
husband and I met in engineering school at
UT. He is a Lt. Col. in the TN Air National
Guard and the Wing Inspector General
at McGhee Tyson Airbase. He still can
entertain my rantings about anything work
related. Our three kids get the brunt of it
traveling to school through construction especially those with public infrastructure, apartment developments, one townhome
