Upper East Branch Lunch & Learn By Director Scott Jenkins

On October 28th, the City of Gatlinburg
hosted the Upper East Branch for a Lunch
         and Learn event. TCAPWA members
met at Gatlinburg’s Herbert Holt Park,
which is home of Tennessee’s only public
trout farm. The meeting attended by 42
         Public Works professionals was presented
         by Roadway Management Technologies
         (RMT).
           Greg Patterson, Gatlinburg City
Manager, welcomed all to the pavilion and
spoke about the current seasonal tourism
         trends. TCAPWA members then trolleyed
over to the City’s Public Works Center,
where director Roger Sims gave a tour of
         the facility.
           Afterwards, RMT gave a presentation
on Practical AI for Public Works:
         Modernizing Roadway Lifecycle
         Management while attendees enjoyed a
barbecue lunch. Thank you to Gatlinburg
         and RMT for hosting us!
