TCAPWA EVENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS
Middle Branch Lunch & Learn By Director Rocky Robinson
The 2026 Q1 Middle Branch Lunch
and Learn meeting was held on
March 26th at the Greater Tennessee
Associated Builders and Contractors’
(ABC) facility in Nashville. It was
wonderful to see approximately 40
members and guests come together
in support of TCAPWA. The meeting
topic was: Winter Response Resources
Available on Tennessee State Contract.
The event was sponsored by Viking
Cives, Cumberland International,
McMahon Truck Centers of Nashville,
MHC (Kenworth), Force America,
and Whelen. These companies play
an important role in municipalities
across Middle Tennessee, providing
heavy equipment resources for daily
operations, as well as winter snow and
ice removal efforts.
The meeting began with
announcements and a warm welcome
back to the ABC banquet room. Jordan
Estep with Viking Cives presented an
overview of the company’s state-of-the-
art snow and ice removal equipment.
He encouraged attendees to visit the
parking area to view the various trucks
and resources available through the
Tennessee State Contract. Guests then
enjoyed an amazing smoked barbecue
and chicken buffet lunch and a large
number of door prizes including
the final and best prize – a coveted
Blackstone Griddle.
After the presentations concluded,
attendees had the opportunity to
network and connect, which is one
of the hallmarks of TCAPWA. The
strength of the relationships built
through TCAPWA is what makes this
organization so valuable.
We thank the members and guests
for attending this first Middle Branch
meeting of the new year. We look
forward to hosting more Lunch and
Learns, and growing the association.
We also extend our sincere thanks
to Klair Kimmey, publisher of TPW
Magazine, for traveling from Knoxville
to attend. Finally, we thank Viking
Cives, Cumberland International,
McMahon Truck Centers of Nashville,
MHC (Kenworth), Force America, and
Whelen for sponsoring this meeting
and supporting TCAPWA.
